Lines from New York (LFNY) is the collective endeavor of several creative minds that met at the nonprofit print studio Works in Progress (WIPNYC) based in the East Village. Inspired by the communal energy and ethos of the print studio, LFNY explores the influence New York City has had on each of its members. Issues such as the immigrant experience, urban landscape, fashion, and visual culture are themes explored in the first collection.
